Mine is a 2014. I’ve had it a year. I’ve maybe opened it 30-50 times.

The original problem was the top was not closing or opening all the way. It would get stuck almost close or almost open....

Rear Latch: How to manually work it

Great question. I am of the no more than once per day and it has better be nice out philosophy. I doubt mine will come down more than twice between now and next April now that winter just hit here...

Have you tried moving your seat forward? Mine squeaks when it is touching the roll ball. Next time it is squeaking, move the seat forward a few inches and see what happens.
