I had a single on my 350z - it weighed less than a dual but just didn't look right with the dual outlets on the bumper. Sounded great, though - it was JIC.

Not exactly. I had a JIC single setup on my 350z which was ~25lbs lighter than stock and made more power. And it was $600.

The 350z is nearly 400lbs lighter than your R32 and has more torque - I'm not sure how the 350 didn't feel as torquey to you. IMO...

350Z guys run 18" wheels all the time with 14" BBK's - there is no reason the same can't be done on the 370's.
