On a side note, the clunky transmission is not driver error....

Got rid of my 370z after 2 months...
Picked up a clean 09 370Z, 8K miles, manual, sport package. However, the tranny/gear whine became unbearable(dealer said it was normal). I could clearly hear it on the street, and when driving...

Low RPM whine?
09 370z. When cruising(through a parking structure) at low RPM's, I can hear a very noticeable whine. Also, when shifting into 1-3 gears, I can hear a whine/screech. Is this stuff normal?

Strange whining noise when shifting...
09 6MT, 370z, 8k miles. When I engage the clutch and shift into 1st-3rd, it makes a cats "meow" type whine. Very noticeable. There's also a noticeable whine when cruising through 1st gear in a park...
