Strange whining noise when shifting...

09 6MT, 370z, 8k miles. When I engage the clutch and shift into 1st-3rd, it makes a cats "meow" type whine. Very noticeable. There's also a noticeable whine when cruising

When I engage the clutch and shift into 1st-3rd, it makes a cats "meow" type whine. Very noticeable. There's also a noticeable whine when cruising through 1st gear in a park lot. Are these normal issues?
