I used Z1 shorty headers..the quality was impressive. I had them ceramic coated..shame they were very pretty but wanted to control the heat. They may be worth waiting for over the Stillen headers...

I would also highly suggest adding this along with your oil..the stock diff cover has a very small capacity and the diff generates a lot of heat.

Did the clutch pedal feel firm at first or did it get firmer as you pumped it? Sounds like the CSC is starting to go. You can try a flush/bleed on the clutch and see if it borrows you some time.
