I doubt this will ever happen, but I want to see a 400Z with a 4L V8 that revs to at least 8,500rpm and makes 380+ hp with a true dual clutch manual as an option.

I couldn't DD an Elise, its just too impractical in every way. But, as a weekend car for going for a blast through the mountains it is the best car to own IMO.

The Z isn't terribly practical...

A lot of modern epoxies are stronger than the material they are designed to bond together... but I'd still be cautious and just buy a new one.

"Generally", the more you lower a car, the more you screw up the geometry that the original engineers designed into it. It may actually go lower, they just don't recommend it.

My old 350Z with a 6spd seemed to have 1 too many gears for street driving, but it was great on the race track. I skipped gears a lot on the street.

There are ways of adjusting brake bias. I would guess drifters shift bias towards the front wheels to help make a tighter line.
