Winter Setup (2015)
Hey, just wanted to post about my winter setup and experience. Go here: Winter Setup Album to view my setup. I went through TireRack and ordered a winter package: Sport Edition A7 18x8 with Blizzak LM-32. The only odd thing is there is a 12mm bolt on the front two rotors you need to remove and everything just bolts on. Torqued down to 80 lbs and I was off.
The ride was great and the grip even better. I took a a couple drives earlier with my summer tires in slush/cold and it wasn't terrible but I didn't want to take long drives on the highway/interstate/city/etc. I definitely feel better with this setup for winter. Note: My wheels came with spacers installed by TireRack. Also, I though the bolt might be too short but everything seems to have tightened well and are on well. |
