Winter Tire Question
Hey Guys,
I did some rough searching but wasn't able to find the answer I was looking for. I have a friend of mine that is selling his 4 brand new 25540r19 bridgestone blizzak's cheap. I'm looking to purchase these to put on my stock 19inch ray's. Now I know the front should fit without a problem, my question is will the rear fit?? And if so, do you guys think there will be any rubbing because of the thicker sidewall?? Thanks for the input guys….. Also, car is lowered on swift springs…. They should fit. They might look a little stretched, but nothing crazy. And the sidewalls won't be thicker, as the aspect ratio (the 40 in the size) is just that, a ratio of the sidewall size vs width of the tire
For every 10mm skinnier the tires get you generally move the aspect ratio up 5 275/35/19 is aproximate to 265/40/19 is approximate to 255/45/19, so 255/40 isn't that far off, and actually might be a bit thinner on the sidewall. Last edited by RLami; 10-01-2014 at 06:03 PM. |
