They should fit. They might look a little stretched, but nothing crazy. And the sidewalls won't be thicker, as the aspect ratio (the 40 in the size) is just that,

They should fit. They might look a little stretched, but nothing crazy. And the sidewalls won't be thicker, as the aspect ratio (the 40 in the size) is just that, a ratio of the sidewall size vs width of the tire
For every 10mm skinnier the tires get you generally move the aspect ratio up 5 275/35/19 is aproximate to 265/40/19 is approximate to 255/45/19, so 255/40 isn't that far off, and actually might be a bit thinner on the sidewall. Last edited by RLami; 10-01-2014 at 05:03 PM. |
