Default Blizzak LM-32

Just ordered a set of 225/50R18 Blizzak LM-32s and a set of 18x8 Enkei Performance Alettas from tirerack. Read a lot of recommendations for the LM-60s, but it looks like they've been discontinued and aren't available anywhere. Hopefully these do me well for the winter, because I've chosen this winter tire setup over picking up a cheap winter DD. I'll be putting them on sometime mid-late October and I'll let you guys know how it goes. In the meantime, anyone else have any experience with this tire?

keep us posted. ive only tried the WS40 and LM60's from blizzak. both have been fantastic in the snow, so im assuming your new set is even better.

Just came in today. In about 2 months I'll throw them on and we'll get my initial impressions.

I'm too doing the Winter set up, I had issues years ago w/ TireRack and have been doing business w DTR but I also have a choice of having a local hole in the wall tire place on the way to work that I've used as well and would like to have them do the homework for me. What was the final cost for your set up. Did they come with the tire pressure monitor?...and if you spoke w a sales guy please give me his name as well (they work on commission) . Tire Rack has a warehouse/ showroom in Windsor CT next town over where I work and have been meaning to stop in...thanks they look great (did you stay with the staggered look)

Not staggered. Same size wheels all around. tirerack does a free balancing/mounting and tpms install. I chose to forego the tpms but could have added them for about $220. All together with shipping I spent about $1500. No sales person helped me on it. I'd highly recommend them though, shipping was super fast. They came a day early.

awesome setup. You'll love it. I have similar setup with tpms. I have Blizzak LM-25 with TR Motorosports C2 18" rims. I LOVE my setup. Only thing is that try to keep the car undercarriage clean. YOu can find car washes that has underbody jets as you enter them. Go through it after each bad snowfall. You'll be good to go.
