Blizzak 245/40/19 ok for rear sport rim 19x10?

I'm looking at a set of 4 blizzak tires. All four are 245/40/19. Perfect for the front, but are these too small for the sport rear wheel? Bridgestone recommends 8-9.5

Bridgestone recommends 8-9.5 wheels for 245/40.

thought blizzaks came in stock sizes. why not just use that? 245/40/19 and 275/35/19.

those 275's are pretty narrow looking as designed.

Why don't you just get some cheap winter wheels mounted with snow tires like everyone else does? That will handle better in the snow than the wide-*** sport rims and you can just remount your summer wheels back on in the spring instead of having to go get the tires popped off twice a year.

That is the route I will most likely take. Keeping my eyes open for a set of base wheels.

I was looking at getting winter wheels and tires for the past year myself but then I got an FJ Cruiser 2 months ago, problem solved.. expensive solution.

I was kind of looking forward to finding out how aggressively the VDC kicks in, in a pile of slush. #shrug

Bought a set of stock wheels from a forum member. Which size is best for winter tires on 18s?

Edit:
It looks like most recommend 225/50 F and 245/45 R. A quick look at tire rack and these sizes are not available now.

Looks like LM-60 was replaced by LM-32. Anyone tried these?

Since the LM-60 is being cleared out, anyone know of a place to pick up them up cheap?
