wheel spacer needed ?
I have stock sport wheels with 20mm spacers all around. The wheels I will be putting on are.
Front 19X9 +15 Rear 19X10.5 +20 I want the same fitment on the new wheels as the Rays with the 20mm spacers. Am I going to need any sort of spacers on the front or rear? Thanks for the help guys. |

Well it actually depends on the new wheels. I got some Varrstoen ES2.2.2s that were 19x9.5 +22 and I needed a spacer so that the wheel cleared the Akebono calipers.

OP, wheel design matters. Like Work Meisters don't fit without huge offsets

I know the wheel will clear the calipers , I just want the same flush fitment I have now, or as close as possible. The reason I'm asking is I wanted to order the spacers I my need before the wheels are shiped. The rear tires on the sports are 305/30/19 if this makes any difference. Should I just wait and see how they look? Thanks for all the responses guys. For some reason my mind has a hard time making sense of the offset/spacer thing.

depending on your tire setup and drop height you should be able to get them very flush with your fenders w/o any spacers

Stock Rays are
19x9 +47 19x10 +30 with your 20mm spacers you will be: 19x9 +27 19x10 +10 Your new wheels are: 19x9 +15 which is 12mm further out from your Rays with a 20mm spacer or 32mm further out than stock with no spacer 19x10.5 +20 which is 3.7mm further in than your stock Rays with 20mm spacer or 16.3mm further out than stock with no spacer Last edited by Ubetit; 08-17-2014 at 08:53 AM. |

So from the sound of this they should actually look better than my current setup. Because the fronts could actually come out some more. And the rears poke a tad since I put the 305's on. Thanks for the calculation, now it starting to click. Last edited by valpozguy; 08-17-2014 at 01:03 PM. |
