aftermarket lug nuts fitment

I just ordered some aftermarket lug nuts and it doesn't look like they'll fit. Besides the thread pattern, nothing else about it resembles the factory nuts - different shape/ size.

Default aftermarket lug nuts fitment

I just ordered some aftermarket lug nuts and it doesn't look like they'll fit. Besides the thread pattern, nothing else about it resembles the factory nuts - different shape/ size. Look at the attached photo. The oem nut (left one) has a flat surface after the acorn surface. Most aftermarket lug nuts (right one) don't have this. I looked at my wheel and can see where this flat surface with the washer mates up to the wheel. Without that, the aftermarket one doesn't look like it grabs onto the flat part of the wheel. It just sinks into the center, but I'm afraid this will not hold the wheel the way it was designed to do...

Here's one from Summit that looks like it WILL fit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rn...ELkPH4Nm_D_BwE

But most of the other aftermarket ones, including the ones sold by vendors on this forum look more like the one in my photo...

BTW if anyone has stock oem lug nuts they want to sell, please PM me. Thanks. I have no idea what happened, but a lot of my lug nuts somehow don't fit the sockets anymore. They're supposed to be 21mm, but the 21mm sockets wont fit them anymore. And the 22mm are just a bit too big. So weird.. Anyone have an explanation for what happened??

If you are looking for a replacment Z1 has the correct shank style lugs the z wheels need. They are SS so no chrome shine. I think 48 50 bucks for a full set.

Sounds like OP is trying to replace his OEM lugs with aftermarket (cone style) lugs, which is a huge fail.

I have no idea what brand the other lug nuts are. I just got them on Amazon. I don't care about something fancy or bling or brand name lug nuts. I just want some stock ones to replace my bad lug nuts. But seems like stock lug nuts are so hard to find! If anyone replaced theirs with aftermarket and want to sell your stock ones to me, please PM me! Thanks.

Check out the link that I posted from Z1. Those are aftermarket OEM style lugs that are an extremely good price.

Yes, I'll sell them. Returning them is too much of a hassle. If you're interested, I'll sell them for $17 + shipping (which is what I paid for them). They're brand new. PM me with your address and I'll give you a quote and more pics if you'd like. Thanks.
