So I just got my tires mounted on black M310 and I just noticed the ugly silver wheel weights. They used the stick-on weights but balanced both inner and outer.

Ugly wheel weights?
So I just got my tires mounted on black M310 and I just noticed the ugly silver wheel weights. They used the stick-on weights but balanced both inner and outer. The single stack looks fine but on one wheel there is a doublestack and it is a complete eyesore.
Is my only choice to take a sharpie to it?

i would use some alcohol to clean it, and use some enamel plastic model paint (use matte finish) to paint it. GL
tirerack uses black weights if you bring in dark wheels. |

My guess is that a Sharpie (or other marker) wouldn't be very UV-resistant and would quickly bleach out. I'd go with kenchan's suggestion to use some type of paint.
This may one of the cases where PlastiDip would be appropriate. YMMV

ROFL Yeah. We do seem to disagree on matters of taste. I'll still buy you a drink if our paths ever cross. People who always agree with me get boring real quick.

Yea that's pretty crappy to stack them. Got mine done recently and they used the silver weights, even though the barrels are black

Go back and tell them to take the wheel and rotate it 180deg then rebalence it. It should get rid of some of the weight..
