The Bridgestones that came on my 2012 touring/sport have the outside groove shallower than the rest. It has been like that since I bought it. Alignment is dead on, it is the tire design I think. I noticed this when I went to my first track day. I wondered how much tread if would burn off at Road Atlanta on the weekend. I don't remember how much I scrubbed off. The depth of the groove was about 2/32 less than the rest

I am guessing and could be wrong, they made the inner part of the tire thicker to counteract for the normal inner tire wear pattern that these cars get. |
