tread depth explained

just make sure you measure tire depth across the entire contact patch. 4/32 on the lowest part of the tread is about when i start thinking about swapping tires.

3/32 and below, will not drive in wet.
2/32 is the absolute lowest i go before swapping, even if there's plenty of tread at the tallest part of the contact patch.
