will my studs be too long?

You should be fine. It is not noticeable Leave your H&R studs on. More work and $$$ to get it off and re install OEM. I would not recommended re-using

It may be loose and may not sit in the way it used to. You can get open ended extended lugs. Open lugs on extended studs look great.
