Varrstoen ES222 (TE37 Reps) Fitment and Advice, should I get? Any Alternatives?
Alright so as you know I've been making some posts around here regarding suspension and wheels. I'm planning to buy everything in one go so I need your help and expertise.
Yes, I know these are reps but I'm Asian so I'm allowed to be cheap lol. I like their Hyper Black since my Z is Magnetic Black. (Not a fan of total black on black such as Matte Black wheels). If you are against these reps please tell me why! I want to know because I don't see any 370's sporting these reps, only 350's. I know they're heavier but I'm not tracking my Z. It's a DD, and I park anywhere so having $4k rims being jacked from your car is no fun. From looking around I see that most ppl have TE37's 19x9.5 +22 & 19x10.5 +12 offsets. Aspec has an ebay page selling a set of ES222's with +22 all-around. So my question is will the +22 on the Rears work? Flush? Spacers? Concave? I want an aggressive concave look so I would imagine +12 in the Rear. Aspec's main website has the ES222's sold out however there's tons on sale on their Ebay page (but with +22 all-around). I already sent Aspec an email to see if they can package me with +22 Fronts and +12 Rears instead of +22 All-Around. No response yet. Also on Aspec's ebay page it says fender rolling is required. Can anyone verify this? My other alternative is Forgestar F14's from GetYourWheels however the wait time for those are gonna cause some issues for me since I need wheels by next month. I want something with an aggressive lip or concave look. My budget is $1400 not including tires. So if you read the whole thing I need to know which offset is okay for the Rears (+12 or +22), the fender rolling issue, and most importantly.. should I get these wheels? My Car Specs: 2011 Black 370Z Base (Non-Sport Brakes). K&N Intake, BERK HFC, BERK CBE. Planned mods: Swift Springs, SPC, Wheels & Tires. Last edited by andbui05; 07-12-2013 at 11:47 AM. |

I want the same wheels in the same offsets Titan21's car was my inspiration. 12 and 22 seem like real winners to me

I bought these same wheels a month ago. The concavity difference between the front and rears is not very noticeable. If you have the sport brakes you will need an 8mm spacer in the front to clear the brakes. The quality seems good, i bought them from ERZ Performance, they are a sponsor here on the site.

Why do you need them in a month? Did your car not come with wheels?
I'm not against quality replicas for a DD, since bad roads can take a toll on wheels and it's a lot easier to replace a $350 wheel than a $900 wheel.

I don't think you'll need fender rolling for a +22 front and +12 or +22 rear (I think our rears are pre rolled) but then again idk about the varrstoen mainly because I'm running the TE37 but you should be alright

Thanks for the info so far, still looking at other alternatives but those ES2's are calling for me. One of my buddies is selling his TE37's with +22 all-around so I checked out his pics and I think +22 should be fine.
