My 370Z showed excessive outer edge wear after 3,000 miles. The dealer found the alignment to be out of spec and did a realignment. The measurement was 8 inside and 6 outside on all 4.

After an additional 6,000 miles the measurements are more like 7 inside and 4 outside. The dealer claims all is in spec and that the car is designed for the outside to wear to this extent even without fast cornering which I do not do.

If anything, I have been told by tire dealers that with the negative camber the inside should be wearing first.

Thanks for your interest.

Sonny

All 4 tires are showing the same wear pattern.

I feel something is being covered up. What action would you take if this were your vehicle?
