Question Track setup help

Hi all,

I am getting 4 used (but tested and verified) ‏Forgeline GA1R 18"x10" +26 offset.
My car is 2014 Nismo TT setup with coilovers, full SPL arms, controllers and more. The guy I am buying the wheels fro used to run 275/35r18 on all 4 wheels.
What you guys thinking about running that setup with Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3R?

The main use of the car it track, I am looking at these tiers as I have 35% off the price on them but wanted to validate with you guys what you think about the size. Please let me know if you think it a good size you I may need to go with a different setup.

Thanks!

You will want to run a 10mm spacer on the rear which will assist with balance. The tire size is fine. Lot's of track folk run 275 35 18 square. The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar R3 is a decent tire and you should be fine until your skills get better.

I’m not a track guy like HotRodZ & Rusty; but pending on your desired camber setup, maybe closer to a 25mm spacer out back...but you got a couple Pro’s comments listed & your question was on the rubber selected
I’d make sure you’re not purchasing old date coded rubbers, as they still exist & dealers will sell them without notification sometimes....Very Nice wheel choice btw

One thing for sure; you’re gonna have a lightweight wheel/tire combo...as the Goodyear’s are 26# & the Forgeline’s are probably 18# or less
Tires have very good reviews from what I’ve read....Post up pic’s, as the Forgeline Wheels are

Wouldn't go more than 15mm on the spacer and since mostly dedicated track car -3.3 to -3.6 and zero to a tad of toe up front and -2.2 to -2.5 rear and a tad of toe.

Go fast...don't suck!!!
