Default Random TPM alerts on the highway

Just curious if anyone has seen this before I take it in;

Any time I take my Z out on the highway for more than 10-15 minutes, the tire pressure light will inevitably start flashing and then remain on until I bring it to a stop. I'm still on the stock S001's filled with Nitrogen.

I've checked pressures on all four corners every time this happens, and nothing is amiss. (I do wish the TPM would indicate which tire is causing the alert, like cheap cars do these days...)

I'm guessing the TPM sensor is picking up a car nearby as I pass them, but I just want to see if it's a known issue.

There is a sensor in the spare tire as well. Might consider checking it. I think the spare tire should be at 60 PSI. At least that's what is specified for my sport package spare tire.

I don't know of any app that works with the stock TPMS sensors.

I have only noticed mine doing this when I had my phone plugged in charging. I assumed it was a combination of a cheap USB charger putting out some interference, amplified through the charging cable acting as an antenna.

I'll check the spare (didn't think about that), and I'll disconnect the power from the dashcam before the next trip and see if that has an effect.

Thanks!

Gentlemen,

An extra trick you might pull is to over inflate all tires by 4 psi and then drive the car to watch for a TPMS alert. If it doesn't light up for the test drive, once home, then lower the tires back to their manufacturer's specified level.

Many of the cars I've had with TPMS over the years have driven me crazy when one tire has gone down. I saw this procedure online and since using it I've always been able to get the system to behave itself.
