The RE-71R will not hold up in endurance racing. It has been proven many times in Chumpcar and AER. The RT-615K is well liked, as are the NT05's and ZII SS. The NT05's are a little on the slow side, and might not do well on the heavier Z chassis depending on your spring rates and aero setup.
You may also want to look at the outgoing RS3, although availability might be hard now that the RS4 is coming out in March. The ZII SS will also be getting replaced at some point this year, but no details are really official on that yet. Another tire to look at is the Nexen SUR4. They have been proven to be long lasting with pretty high grip levels. |
