Best Tire Size Setup? Opinions

Morning everyone, I am going to be purchasing 19x10.5+12 on the rear and 19x9.5+12 on the front. I am wondering what would be the best tire size for the wheels.

Default Best Tire Size Setup? Opinions

Morning everyone,

I am going to be purchasing 19x10.5+12 on the rear and 19x9.5+12 on the front.

I am wondering what would be the best tire size for the wheels. I know many people say you can run what ever you want. But the diamaters of the stock was nice. I would like to do maybe 285 on rears but not exactly sure.

Whats your opinions.

With a 10.5 wheel I wouldn't personally go that wide, there are guys running that tire but I don't know the offsets and width

I am reading this thread

Why you should use these tires with NISMO Wheels: 285/35R19 (F), 325/30R19 (R)

Some people are doing it with the swift springs but all on stock wheels

Then you've answered your question about tires, offsets are what you have to look at, but if I'm not mistaken the offset on the nismo is 23, so you're looking at moving the wheel out 10mm

While i answered about it i wonder about it at the same time. Those are nismo tires

Since the nismos are
F:19x9.5. Offset 40 mm
R:19x10.5. Offset 23 mm

and im going
F:19x9.5. 12
R:19x10.5. 12

i just wonder how much more will it stick out

The offset shouldnt make a difference of the actual tire though right?

The Nismo wheels with 325 seem to fit flush, so that offset will push it out .3 of an inch

Your offsets are not enough so you will be sticking out front and and even more in the rear.

Hopefully you haven't bought those wheels yet! You need to do your research on offsets here and elsewhere online before you buy...
If you currently have factory sport rays, the offsets are 47mm Front and 30mm Rear.

Measure your current tire clearances to the fender front and rear and then use this link to plug in rims and tires you have now and what you are proposing to figure it out:

What are you talking about?

19x10.5 +12 is fine with a 305. I bet he'd be fine with a 325 as well with a tiny bit of camber.

19x9.5 +12 will require camber but i see no reason why a 265 won't work, and a 245 certainly will.

Look at this car:
GMR SS-1 Wheels

19x9.5 +15 (+12 after a 3mm spacer for brake clearance) and a 235/35/19 front. He has a huge amount of clearance. more than enough that a 245/40/19 would fit.

He can easily do 245/40/19 and 285/35/19

265/35/19 and 305/30/19 possible, just more work in front

I purchased tires. I don't mind the wheels sticking out slightly. I purchased

325/30/19
265/35/19

Checking on if the wheels I should purchase are

19X10.5+ 12 or 22 on the rears. Fronts will be +12

I'm looking to see how it will look. I've seen people run 325 on nismo stocks (10.5). My only question really is the offset. Should I run +22 or +12 on the rears. I'm already doing +12 on front for the sport breaks.
