Square set up 19x10 feeling shaky at the front wheels
Hello there asking for some advice
I recently installed some 19x10 rays oem 2013 forged on my Z and since then I feel like the stering comes very sensitive with any imperfections on the road becoming a little bit of a concern for me.since is my dd I have 265/35/19 on fronts And 285/35/19 on rears My questions is my car needs sone alignment after this or is the 20mm difference between the front and rears tires? I was running the oem.set up before this with none of tge issues stated above Please let me know what are opinions or experiences about this Best regards Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk |

Is the car lowered?
When is the last time you had an alignment? How many miles on the car? Changing your setup might have revealed some alignment issues you didn't know you had, or maybe something in your steering components is worn or damaged, or maybe one of your tires isn't properly balanced or one of the new front wheels is bent. Could be many things. If those front tires were really stretched on the 10" wide wheel then id say sure thats causing it, but its only 10mm less than OEM width. I'd start with a process of elimination.

You've got a wider wheel/tire in the front so the tramming/twitchiness is just magnified from the stock wheel/tire setup.
If you are running after market sways? This compounds the twitchiness. As long as it's not pulling to either side alignment should be fine, But wouldn't hurt to get it checked if it's been awhile. If it's vibrating? That's another story. If you do have aftermarket sways? Try using the stocks sways to lessen the tramming/twitchiness. Other than that I don't see an actual problem WE all get used to driving on our toes with wider rims and tires. |

Ty all for ur replys i knew u guys will help.me a lot
Let's start the elimination process No spacers on front Just 20mm on the back When i powdercoat my wheels it reveals a little bent on one of the wheels but no that huge Car it is lowered on megan racing springs 1.75 all around Car was alignment with the old set up And 265s on the 10" wheel doesn't look to stretch especially with those Michelin Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk |

Sounds like you're feeling tramlining. Read about it here:
