Outer Tire Wear
Hey guys,
Thought I would start a fresh thread now that I have some pics. First pic is front passenger tire. Second pic is driver rear tire. I go to AutoClub which is heavy on left turns making the passenger tires wear more. Driver front tire looks a LITTLE better than the posted pic of passenger front. Showed both to compare and contrast wear. My last thread gave me some good info on how to minimize this. The purpose of this thread is to get your opinion on how bad it is or if it still has some life to it (front passenger). When will it clearly need to be replaced?

wear doesnt seem that abnormal especially for track use with heavy turns and putting pressure on the outside edge. IMO just rotate side to side normally and even it out

Thanks for the input fellas. How do you know when there is too much wear though? There is no sidewall indicator (i don't think)

You need adjustable upper control arms. Got to spend money if you want to play. You're jumping down the rabbit hole now and there is no bottom.

I agree that you need to replace tires immediately once cording shows, but isn't that dangerous to rely on cording as an indicator? Is there still enough tire to safely even drive on it? And by "drive" I mean from the moment you see it to the shop to replace
