285 or 305?

Sup everyone gonna get a set or 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 What are your ideas 285 vs 305 on the 10.5 Has anyone rode both sets ? Any difference ?

Sup everyone gonna get a set or 20x9.5 and 20x10.5

What are your ideas 285 vs 305 on the 10.5
Has anyone rode both sets ? Any difference ?

I would do 295 on the rear. But 305 is really nice too. I don't know about any issues with running a 305.

Oh okay I see every almost doing 275/285 but I wanted to know if there was any actual difference but I guess not thanks

There is. 305 being the widest (while being safe). More grip but more expensive.

going 305/30 is ONLY more grip horizontally left to right ( like on a track) cuz it's a wider shorter contact patch.
I just got to try out pss 295/35 wider and taller, mathematically it should be better aside from weight

I been told my track guys that 305 will slow you down vs a 285 and does not provide more launch grip vs a 285, it is the tire itself

The type of tread width will also matter, I ended up with sport comp 2s and they have an 11.2 inch tread width if I remember correctly, in a 285
