Default Help with RE-11 sizing

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with the sizing for the RE-11's.
I've looked everywhere for the answer but I can't find it. I have a 2016 370z sports package with the crappy stock bridgestones RE050A and they are almost gone. Wheels are the stock rays of course. I did some Auto x's with these tires and felt a lot understeer with the staggered setup. I want to get rid of the understeer by increasing the front tire width. I wanted to do 275/35/19 square but the RE-11's do not come on that size.

I was thinking on going 285/35/19 square, is this ok?

Or going 265/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear, even though this is not square, it should help with the understeer right? Are these sizes ok for the stock sport rays wheels?

Or get RE-71R in 275/35/19 square? Are they better than the RE-11 and last as long?

I really wanted to do the square setup. Any help would be appreciated

285s would be to wide for the front wheels

265 / 285 should be alright

All right, thanks man, I think I'm going to do this. I want to get rid of the understeer as much as possible. Probably the RE050's did not help and they lasted me 10k miles. 4 months WTH.

What about 265/35 -305/30?

Isn't that a popular combo as well on the Sport Rays?

I know 265/35 & 285/35 are also very popular but, so too the other.

Personally, I was leaning toward 265/305 as they're close to OEM size in terms of diameter, circumference, etc. just wider.

285 is not too wide for the front, I run 285 square on my autocross wheels and love the set up. Allows for slight lift off oversteer if wanted. Id love to run 285/305 daily but my offsets won't allow it
I'd run at least 275 up front, no need to stagger much, we don't make enough torque to notice it. My next will be the largest re-71r they make, I think 285 now

I believe he was speaking to 285's being too wide for stock sport rays wheels not for the car itself.

I know people who have thrown a 305 up front without issue.

OP I'm on my second set of 265/305 RE11 setup on stock sport rays and love it. third set will be purchased soon as well.

Yes, I run 285 square and have done so with 2 different sets of Stock wheels and 2 different tires. No issue at all. The kumho fit with a little pinch but nothing major

Not yet. I went to an auto X event but the old guys thee weren't overly fond of my exhaust so I didn't participate after a few choice words.

Been on the dragon many times with this setup and it's amazing. If you know what the dragon is then you know how demanding it is of your tires. I rolled a pss there and switched to re11 so much better.

285/35/19 square is fine. On the 9in front, they look right at home. Here's a pic on the S-tune 19s (same specs as stock Sport 19's).

FWIW I've run 295 Rivals up front with a 1/4" spacer...no prob.
