Boost + 1/4mi = need new tires

So my S04 are almost done. I think I have ran 50-57 runs on these tires. They are only worn out on the inside for some reason. Me thinks it's from the drag ans car end going down when I launch. I still get lots of wheel hop and not sure how to fix it. I'm going to visit my local guys later and ask what they think is the best bang for the buck fix.

Anyhoo, what should I buy? I'm thinking another So4 in 305 for DD and maybe get some drag radials and pop them on the spare Heart Racing tires for drag days. I'm not sure what tire to get for drags though. I'm also kind of scared of snapping the axle with all the hopping. I will probably fix the hoping before the drag radials though.

What do you think?

You're wheel hop could be from one thing or a couple things combined. The rubber bushings in the rear suspension are deforming/deflecting. The rear shocks don't have enough dampening to control the action. Tires are crap. Pick one or pick 3.

Get your rear camber adjusted to increase the tire contact patch. With wider tires, handling shouldn't be too much of a problem. Back when I first lowered my car on 305s, camber was so bad you could slide a card underneath the tire. There was barely much contact on over 50% of the tire. It's much better now. I just need to get the front ones adjusted.

Definitely check the rear bushing on the differential. Mine is just starting to crack and show some deformity. Then again I hardly push the car, and I also feather the throttle enough to reduce wheel hop if I launch it. I've got the Whiteline bushings... just gotta find the time and tools to get it installed.

The width (contact patch) and height of the SO4 are skinnier than Michelin on identical tire sizes. I ran 285/30/20 Michelin A/S 3 as DD and there is about an inch of unused outer tire due to negative camber, with the SO4 at the same PSI there is only 1/4 of an inch unused tire. The height of the SO4 when mounted also looks dramatically "shorter". So if you upgrade to Michelin PSS and run lower PSI on the drag strip, you might achieve better 60' and 1/4 mile times.

My best 1/4 mile run on my bone stock 370z with A/S 3 tire was 12.91
Haven't tried the SO4 yet
