Locking lug part number for a '15 S/T Conv.
I've read through the stickies and did a search and it's really confusing with posters saying this is right and that is wrong but never giving the actual part number to have clarity when going to the dealer parts counter. The parts guy at my dealer just gives me a blank look when I tell him I need locking lug nuts that have to fit the Ray's wheels. Nuts is nuts to him and he's telling me they're the same for all years. Anyone have the actual part number that I can pass on to him? It's for a '15 sport touring convertible with Ray's forged wheels. Thanx

Same for all years. There is only on type of a lug that can be used with stock wheels. Aftermarket ones will not work.

as far as locking lug nuts, as long as it is the mag type with a washer, and 12x1.25, they should fit just fine. all years using the same lugs as cooltoy already mentioned.

Thanks gentlemen, I guess nuts is nuts and the parts guy is correct. Thanks very much for the quick replies!

Locks
I just happen to have the package from the locking lug nuts for the current Sport Rays with my take offs in it 10 feet away from where I'm sitting. The part # on the package is 99998-JT000. (I have a 2013 Sport with the Rays)
They might be the same for him all these years but there are still dealers mixing up the ones for 350s with the correct washer type ones for the Rays on 370s. My dealer delivered my Z with the wrong ones and I spotted it, thanks to the thread on this forum and I went after them. As far as I was concerned, that bordered on negligence. The 'wrong' ones are unsafe and can break because they thread on too far. This is the thread from above that saved my ***. The Nissan locks are McGards. It may be packaged Nissan, but inside there is McGard literature. WRONG APPLICATION - Nissan 370Z Wheel Locks 104 Last edited by Zipper 104; 09-09-2015 at 04:13 AM. |

To be clear here, the part number listed by Zipper 104 is the Canadian part number (packaging uses both French and English). The US part number is listed by TreeSemdyZee. They are both correct for 370Z OEM wheels.

Thanks Jar for clarifying the part numbers and thanks Zip for posting the part number. I looked on eBay and Amazon and the correct nuts are available both places, looks like I'm going to pass on the dealer and take Tree's advice and just order on line. Thanks all!
