Putting on 18x8.75 +33 XXR 530s, what spacers?
Title says it all really haha
I tried searching but as these are kind of a weird size I couldn't figure out what spacers to run. I have a 15' Touring, non sport model. I don't plan on lowering but if I do later I'll adjust the setup. Wheels are 18x8.75 +33 I know I'm gonna need to run bigger spacers in the rear just don't know how much. Help! |

Why not just get the proper size and offsets so there is no need to muck around with spacers?

In the front alone you would need a 20mm spacer to get that kind of fitment and just for safety's sake I would not want to run the 40mm spacers that you would need in the back... Just get new wheels.

SSR makes MS1s in that size. I only suggest them because they are a mesh style like the XXR.
I personally run their SP1s

I see. A decent set of spacers are going run you a couple hundreds anyway and it will still look terrible because the rears are too narrow. Just sell them and get new.

Thanks guys that's the info I needed. I'll just hold off then and get a set of wheels down the road.
To the person who said I'm gonna spend a couple hundred on spacers so why not buy new wheels? Stock wheels are 18s, if I'm gonna buy wheels I'm buying 19s which means new tires too, so it was a cost difference of $200 or $1500+ which is a huge difference. I'll focus on some other stuff first, thanks guys. PS I've been posting on forums like this for like 8-10 years so I know how posts can come off wrong, I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything just explaining my decision. I do appreciate all the info!! Last edited by NaiveRapture; 02-19-2015 at 01:40 PM. |
