Well, tire racks info on repairs & speed ratings popped up, some how. So thanks for that link. Pretty much says it all. Bridgestone (and others) void the speed rating,

Tire Rack Info
Well, tire racks info on repairs & speed ratings popped up, some how. So thanks for that link. Pretty much says it all. Bridgestone (and others) void the speed rating, Michelin (and others) maintain the speed rating. And like kenchen said, some lower the rating to "H".
With this help, I feel comfortable up to XXX mph, but will not push too much. Also I'll consider Michelin for replacement. Thanks Edit: Repairs MUST be done in accordance with Rubber Manufacturers Association high standards. Last edited by TexasChuck; 02-01-2015 at 12:42 PM. |
