or just pay at the track when you arrive ($10.00 extra for at track registration)
you need a helmet (any scooter/motorcycle helmet will do). You can borrow one of mine if need be! (just ask and I'll bring a spare) or you can rent one for $25.00 at the track.

I recommend you bring a 5-10 gallon gas can to top off if you have one and stop in Byers to top off on the way in! (If you get to half tank you will start fuel starving on the right turns) (see: CJM Fuel Starvation Control Product, Round 2 for what im talking about)

Also bring a lawn chair and some lunch/drinks.

We usually run 15-20 minutes out of every hour to allow for oil cool down (unless you have an oil cooler) so you'll want a chair and some warm clothes.

so... A good list might be:
1. 5 gallons extra gas

2. 1-2 quarts oil (in case your z burns a bit)

3. some brake fluid to top off with (I use RBF 600, stock is non silicon DOT 3) The fluid level drops as your pads thin out, and if it falls even a bit, you'll get ABS/VDC failure!

4. Food, chair, jacket, drinks

5. gopro if you have one, (suction cup iPhone mount works well too!)

6. HELMET!!!! (required)

7. gloves (optional)
Shadezz likes this.

Notes copied from previous track days:
My only two tech comments Are:

1. I wore soo much pad of my front (HPR plus) brakes that my fluid level dropped in the brake reservoir, and I got ABS, VDC, and BRAKE light illumination right at the end of my day. I recommend bringing extra brake fluid to top off if you push your brakes as hard as I do (ie VERY HARD)

2. For the second track day in a row, I experienced "Fuel starvation" on turn 2 at half tank. (again right at the end of my day). Luckily I was able to straighten out and regain power. I added 5 gallons from a jug which brought me to 3/4 tank and no more problems after that. I definitely recommend topping off tank in morning and bringing at least 5 gallons extra gas for a morning session. Kim filled up at the track at 9 bucks a gallon which got REEEALY expensive, poor guy...

We should all buy a 3 pack and save....242.00 instead of 90 a person.

Agreed. I think there is an issue where we have to use the 3pack this calendar year. I wonder if it can be split?

I still have my ss lines in a box. Have you scheduled your install? I'd be in for a build day Saturday!

We'll try to keep an eye on your oil temps!! My only suggestion is possibly bleeding your brakes and putting in some DOT 4 fluid (Like RBF600). I would be happy to help you with that if you like, (if you have the fluid) it really takes two guys to do it.

I'm still sitting on some ss brake lines, if you want to get together over next few weeks, we could do a little brake upgrade day. I'll put on my lines then we can bleed BOTH our brakes with RBF (we will just need a couple more bottles of it as I only have enough to do my own right now)

I will have extra Moble1 5-30 at the track if you burn some, so don't worry about bringing any if you don't have it on hand.

Get that cooler on!!!! You'll have way more fun lapping!!!
