Tuning a must??
if you do a CAI system and or CBE system (FI), is getting a Tune, a MUST???

As others have said, it's not absolutely required (the ECM will adapt, within reason) ... but it doesn't make much sense to me to make mods like that and not get a tune to get the most out of what you have done. I guess it all depends on what your goals are.

The main thing that turns me away from getting a custom tune is that I don't know any tuners in the area. There aren't really any Z-experienced shops around me.

Not necessary but if you want to maximize your mods, you should consider a tune. If you decide to do so, make sure any other engine mods you plan to do are in place before the tune. I started with a baseline of 283.56 hp / 235.97 torque to a final pull @ 312.03 / 272.23 +10% HP and +15% Torque gained after the tune. Car drives great. Good luck.
