Ecu or tuning difference pre12 verses post 12?

I have seen some tuning option are only good to the 2012 model year...anything change in 13+. Ecu or wiring changes?

Anything? Is this just something hypertech only shows up to the 2012 model year or is there a change.... Do the other tuning options see this model year divide?

From what I've read the hypertech only worked on early ecu's, Nissan must have updated the ECU code in later models.

In the end though, the only tuning option that's worthwhile for the Z is UpRev.

Yeah I know hypertech isn't the most complete solution, I just saw they were only available for up to the 2012 model so wondered if the Ecu changed, our stock tuning changed after that.
