Default Motion Lab Tuned 2010 370z 496WHP/436WTQ @ 8psi PTE6266 top mounted turbo kit!

Shop: Motion Lab Tuning
Dyno Type: Dynocom FX5000-AWD
Boost: 8psi
Fuel: 93OCT
Target AFR: 11.2:1
SAE Corrections: Default Corrections
Peak HP at RPM: 496whp @ 6750 RPMs
Peak Torque at RPM: 436wtq @ 5650 RPMs
Transmission: Stock 6speed
Gear: 5th
Engine Management: UpRev Osiris tuning suite
Engine/Power Modifications:
  • PTE6266 Top mount turbo kit
  • DW 850cc injectors
  • 255LPH fuel pump
  • GReddy TI-C Exhaust
  • Turbosmart BOV
  • Turbosmart EWG
  • Manual boost controller
  • SETRAB oil cooler

These are the final results from the 6266 equipped 370z we completed at the end of last week. The car was absolutely screaming on the dyno, there is a video posted below, and you could tell it was happily making power. We were tuning around 8PSI on the dyno to see how far it would take us. We started out with a baseline dyno first as the car had been tuned with the installation of the turbo kit in Florida. It was making 500+RWHP at 10PSI on their DYNOMite dyno. Our baseline was at 460WHP and that's where Todd started his work. The first pull on the Motion Lab map jumped up to 479WHP, but was running a bit rich. By the time we got the AFR smoothed out we had picked up some more power. After fine tuning of the ignition timing map and VVEL we ended up with our final peak power of 496RWHP and a very broad powerband. Gains of 36WHP and 40WTQ at the same boost level isn't too shabby! Always love tuning these boosted Z's, they really come alive with the turbo/supercharger set-ups.

This particular car was previously supercharged. He has been absolutely loving the power delivery from the turbo set-up versus the supercharger. This thing comes on quick, hits hard, and pulls clean in the top end!

Highest run HP/TQ with Boost + AFR Graph:

Haha it was 12:45AM. Our dyno is in a small separate bay at the rear of the shop. Its bright as hell in the bay but it doesn't illuminate the darkness outside that late at night

As FireDan50 mentioned its his build, I was just sharing the results we were able to achieve. Check out his build thread for more pics!

Very nice. Can't wait to finally get the funds together so I can pawn my car off on you for awhile. I personally don't want to get over 500 sine it'll still be a dd for the most part. But yeah, anyway, good stuff!

Absolutely, even before you get to 500 at the wheels you need to try and find some more traction haha.

Let me know if we can help with any questions!

We are very lucky to have such a large Z community here in the south east! Love all the Z's and G's, but a boosted 370z is just incredible fun. Not surprised how popular forced induction has gotten now that the VQ37HR has proven itself to be reliable all the way up to ~500whp.

Thanks for the comment ANMVQ!

Thanks,
