Really helpful. Ran into a few hang ups here and there with the car and they just let us work on the car and really spent the time to make sure we got what we came for. Honestly 10/10. Would recommend to anyone.

Final pull on 8lbs.
Had a boost leak. Still made 400whp351tq.
Still lots to work on before we turn up the boost. However we will see roughly 420-450whp @8lbs once a few changes are made with the leak and exhaust. Aiming for 10-12lbs max boost but I need to be careful. Not in a rush to blow it up.

Also the bits where I talk in the video. I am literally shouting as loud as possible because the car is that loud. I didn't think my phone would even catch it.lol It was louder than the shop owners open midpipe gtr.lol

Story of how things played out yesterday...stolen Boosted_MX5's youtube video description.

This dyno day was an immense learning experience with the car. I don't have a video of the most powerful run which is obviously the best. Also we had a mysterious boost leak that we found on the way home but at that point we took what we could get.

The day went as such. Strapped the car to the dyno, made a few pulls blew an intercooler pipe. We then found a sensor that was unplugged. Reconnected and the fuel map needed redone again. Got that done and it started breaking up in boost. Waited 2.5 hours for someone to find us GTR spark plugs (Which turned out to be the exactly same model# as the ones in the car). Swapped them in. Started tuning. No more breaking up. 3rd pull we did 400whp/351wtq on 8psi.....Annnd then the car shut off and wouldn't restart because a wiring harness melted. Being the two of us would be stranded in Long Island or stuck in a tow truck with a $550 bill we got it on the lift and I proceeded to go through the harness wire by wire.

By 12:30 we were about to give up and put it in on the tow truck (which had arrived and been waiting at this point). Lowering it from the lift Ryan (M.R. Performance owner) told us to give it one last shot. Fired right up. Taped and secured all the wiring, reattached the exhaust and after a short test drive started the long drive home. At this point we noticed the tune was definitely off. Pulled over and immediately found the boost leak we previously could not find on the dyno.

Given all the issues we had on the dyno during our max power run ( boost leak, only 2 power runs tuned, tuning with a massive vacuum leak, etc.) I would say that we could realistically be into the 450whp/370-380wtq range.

M.R. Performance were incredible. They didn't have to help us out but Ryan (the owner) stayed, and let us stay and fix it. They also let us use tools and parts we hadn't brought. He also waited 2.5 hours to get us new spark plugs when we were ready to just call it quits. Without them there giving us motivation I'm not sure we would have driven the car back.

That is pump 93. Waiting to do more testing and map switching to come out. That and speed density and ebc is all very near by John told me. I'm pretty sure that 450whp will be seen VERY soon on 8lbs.
