I have the same post MAF tubes and filters. Next step, for me, is having the HFC installed. Finalized the EcuTek 93 a few days ago, and feel a difference in throttle response and overall power and torque throughout the power band.
Interested in how you came up with the #’s? |

Great numbers, I was personally shocked when we dyno tested the post maf silicone tubes and they netted 7-8 whp back to back. Changed them out on the dyno and didn't change anything else!

What do you mean how did I come up with the #s? lol I installed the mods, ran on the dyno, and then tuned on ecutek. Are you suggesting that I made up the #s from my butt dyno Last edited by babyzilla; 05-03-2022 at 11:20 AM. |

Same! This is exactly why I went this route over the aftermarket intakes. Other than cost, the maintenance is so much easier too. Now, if I were building a race car, I'd probably go with aftermarket intakes to optimize output.

Babyzilla, I didn't mean to imply you butt dyno'd the numbers, LOL. Was just curious what dyno was used, my lack of proper communication for certain. (Mustang, etc.)
I am having the HFC installed next week, and will be going to stage 2 tune, can't wait to feel the difference. I understand i'm leaving lots on the table without a CBE, but I honestly feel that for the money spent on one isn't worth my consideration for now. Until I get the bug again. |

Nice! Just had mine tuned last weekend as well. AAM resonated short tails and test pipes, Z1 cold air intake. Baseline was 317whp and 250 torque. Final numbers were 347whp and 280 torque. Who did you have tune yours?

Frank from Hills Garage in MD. I went with a "conservative" tune. These days, he won't tune unless you have a cat. He said the EPA is cracking down on shops and he doesn't want to take the risk. |
