Question Am I ready for a tune?

Hello. My cfm mods are Z1 CAI, HFC and Catback exhaust. Should I be contented and have the car tuned as it is right now or should I wait and have the plenum ported/polished? Please also state if the plenum mod will harm the tune if it's done afterward.

Wait until you do the plenum if possible. If you do get a tune now, Seb will usually tweak your tune afterwards for free as long as nothing drastic was done. Plenum mod after already getting a tune won't hurt you to much, but the car could mess with AFR a bit.

Understood. Now as for the plenum mod, I don't plan sending it out to Z1 or anywhere. I'd like to do it myself even if I don't reach far enough in the ports. Could I simply open up a bit and polish the throttle body holes and call it a day?

As for tuning, I have seen Seb from Speciality Z being recommended a lot for e-tunes. Is he the best to deal with? I kind of got pushed away by Admintuning with their very minimal customer service.

Can't answer the first question. One of the other guys will chime in that know better.

Seb from Specialty Z is one of the best tuners for our cars in the world. Very easy to work with, willa nswer any questions you have, is very fast to get back to you with tweaked files, and can be followed up with afterwards. He's who I used personally for my e-tune. Took about 6 different maps to get my car squared away with the same bolt on mods you had. You will be in very good hands with him. I live in NY and he is SoCal, so that alone should show the trust for the guy to handle everything perfectly.

If you are going to do it yourself. Be careful. There is some places that ain't very thick. You just want to remove the flashing at the seams.

Admintuning. Some swear by him, others swear at him. He seems to be hit or miss. If I was getting an E-tune. Seb would be the only way to go.

Can I still get tuned even though I do not have a second oxygen sensor hole on my HFC? I do not want to have my beautiful HFC drilled. The tuner I am thinking of uses Dynapack and wideband motec. What are my options?
