Question New fuel pump and injectors

Hi all,

I just got used (new for me) 525 fuel pump + CJM S1.SE Fuel System + ID1300 injectors and flex fuel sensor. The final goal is to get the car fully flex tune by a tuner but till I can have this done I will like just to at least install the new pump as I needed to ship my old one as part of the deal. My old pump was 255. I am running TT with ecutek tune and wanted to know if I only replace the pump will the tune be able to handle it? I don’t want to ship my car to the tuner I want to drive it there, I am ok if I need to keep the car off boost, no more than 3k rpm and very slow acceleration. What you guys thinks?

Also, I know that ecutek have the injectors size as parameter so will the tune will be able to adjust if I install the new injectors and change the value in ecutek?

Thank you for the help!

Just having gone through this, I can tell you the tune will definitely not scale with injectors without being updated.

That is a great info, I can wait with the injectors. But I must run the pump. Do you have any information about the pump? Will the tune will know to keep the right AFR and work as needed?

Also, your tuner can probably send you a remote tune to get you going, if you've got the tools to load it. That way you can drive it to the shop.

I’m going this same setup. How has it gone so far? What is the difference between S1. SE and S2.SE? Is that 525 pump compatible with your fuel return system?
