Default Cobb Accessport for 370Z?

Can anyone shed some light on using a Cobb Accessport on a 370Z? I know someone that would like to use the Cobb Accessport on their 370Z. Is this Cobb Accessport tuner a good choice using it on a 370Z versus other tuning methods?I heard that the standard maps that come with the Cobb Accessport tuner run on the rich side? Anyone here have experience with the Cobb Accessport tuner?

Unless you plan on doing your own tuning (not a good idea unless you know what you're doing), get whatever your tuner feels most comfortable using.

Either myself or the person will be doing the tuning. I am wondering what the base maps are like on the Cobb Accessport tuner? The tuner of choice prefers and feels comfortable tuning using ECUTek software.

I've seen way more tuners use ECUTek and Uprev for 350/370z's. Accessport offers ease of loading maps but that's about it; there's no need to flip between maps unless you're constantly changing parts and/or fuel. Even then, I've only seen the Accessport for GTRs(as far as Nissan is concerned).

BTW, I have a Subaru and don't even use Accessport; I just use a RomRaider/ECUEditor which is similar to how UpRev and ECUTek works(minus the license).

Yes,the ECUTek software is what will be used since the tuner highly recommends the ECUTek software and feels comfortable using it. Use what your tuner prefers.

Cobb stopped supporting the 370z AccessPort only a year or so after releasing it. So if you can even get your hands on the device and are experienced in their software, go for ECUTek or UpRev. At least that way you'll have some support from the developers.
