How do you come up with 8-10k of mods with bolt ons and nos?

I believe OP is in Canada, and labor likely factored in.

Overall he's kinda repeating what most people experience.

Labor shouldn't be factored in to your price of mods when stating how much is into your car otherwise if I went to a shop and they charged me 10k to install a cold air intake does that mean I now have 10k worth of mods in my car?

Cut outs straight pipe set up $1200
Nitrous wet kit system $1300
Bottle warmer $200
Window Switch $250
Bottle opener $350
Motordyne intake manifold $800
K&N Intake $500
Stillen oil cooler $900
Motordyne test pipes $1100
ACT stage 2 Flywheel & Clutch $2000
UpRev tune $800

Total is about $9220 before I even account for labour
