From what I gather, the tables in EcuTek are much higher resolution, so finer adjustments can be made, making for much smoother power delivery and drivability. Also the fact that EcuTek has the ability to tune (highjack) the throttle is a major plus.
On the other hand, UpRev allows the user to tune their own vehicle, and since you know how to do your own tuning, that to me would be a big advantage IF you plan on swapping out parts a lot, causing a need to tweak the tune all the time for different parts your swapping out. After a lot of research for a couple of months, I decided to go with EcuTek for my needs. Just seemed to have a better feature set and capabilities for me and my Z.
