Tuning with E85 and Flex Sensor on ECUtek?

I tried to search but did not have much luck. I noticed there are full E85 tuned Z's, but I want to know if anyone has done a Flex Fuel

Default Tuning with E85 and Flex Sensor on ECUtek?

I tried to search but did not have much luck. I noticed there are full E85 tuned Z's, but I want to know if anyone has done a Flex Fuel setup with a tune that would read the Ethanol content and adjust the map as needed. Also, what is needed besides ECUtek and a Flex Fuel sensor to make this work if it is possible.

Thanks in advance.

When I was in so cal having mine tuned by Seb there was a g37 that was getting this done so yea it is doable.

Thanks for the replies. I will contact Seb when the time comes. Are there any documented build that have done this on this forum?

Forged Performance has also tuned E85 cars with the flex fuel sensor. Are you looking into it for a FI car or NA?

I have been running 40% ethanol by mixing 1.3 gallons of 93E10 for each gallon of E85. My Z has an Ecutek 93 octane tune for a stock 370Z. The part throttle fuel trims adjust to the ethanol percentage nicely. After the Long Term Fuel Trims settle, the wide open throttle A/F leans out from 12.0 to about 12.5. The gain in the car's performance is addicting.

We have tuned a few with Flex fuel and ECUtek, has worked very well on the turbo cars, the fairly stock NA cars do not see much of a gain with the addition though.

My G37 is flex fuel tuned with ECUtek. You just need the sensor of choice and wire it in by bypassing your EVAP sensor. I'm also NA and got about 15 more WHP when at or above 75% ethanol; but I have a fairly long laundry list of bolt-ons.

Link to G37 boards to my dyno

I got my tune done at Topspeed Motorsports in Alpharetta. I was the first VHR that they flex fuel tuned so they are still working out some little things but otherwise it's pretty awesome. The gains when going from 93 OCT to E85 is very noticeable.

Here is a more detailed evaluation of ethanol performance in my z.

Gains from E85 (ethanol) on an N/A bolt on 370Z
