Any issues switching from ECUtek to Uprev?
I apologies if this is common knowledge, I tried a search but didn't have much luck.
My Z I just bought has an ECUtek tune, and it's runs fine but it runs fairly rich and the afr wanders a bit compared to my other car under low load (normal driving), so I wanted to tinker with it a bit. However, since ECUtek doesn't support end user tuning I wanted to get Uprev. Are there any issues with going from one tuner to another? |

You'd be better off finding a new tuner. Ecutek is a better platform and switching to uprev is a step backwards.

From the reading I've done that certainly seems to be the case but until they support end user tuning it's just not a good fit for me. I'm don't need anything fancy, I'm not looking for everything last bit of power and from my experience with local tuners, honestly, I do a better job with drivability tuning.

That all may be true, but just the better timing control of Ecutek makes it a no-brainer to keep the better software, even if it is an inconvenience to have to farm out the tuning.
