Default Any issues switching from ECUtek to Uprev?

I apologies if this is common knowledge, I tried a search but didn't have much luck.

My Z I just bought has an ECUtek tune, and it's runs fine but it runs fairly rich and the afr wanders a bit compared to my other car under low load (normal driving), so I wanted to tinker with it a bit. However, since ECUtek doesn't support end user tuning I wanted to get Uprev. Are there any issues with going from one tuner to another?

You'd be better off finding a new tuner. Ecutek is a better platform and switching to uprev is a step backwards.

From the reading I've done that certainly seems to be the case but until they support end user tuning it's just not a good fit for me. I'm don't need anything fancy, I'm not looking for everything last bit of power and from my experience with local tuners, honestly, I do a better job with drivability tuning.

That all may be true, but just the better timing control of Ecutek makes it a no-brainer to keep the better software, even if it is an inconvenience to have to farm out the tuning.

I'm about to switch to Ecutek and just listed an Uprev Tuner package with cable and license yesterday if you want a more economical way to try it out.

As others mentioned, EcuTek is the way to go. However if you do want to tune it yourself you will need UpRev. There is no harm in going from EcuTek to UpRev. You will however lose the EcuTek license. Unlike UpRev, EcuTek licenses does not transfer back to the dongle. So you will lose it.
