There's a reason no one uses it. Go with Ecutek or Uprev.

Looking at the descriptions for the Triple Dog 50 State Legal GT Gas Tuner and the Triple Dog GT Platinum Gas Tuner on the Bully Dog Tuners web site, it looks like you just get a few sets of canned tunes. They might give you a few more ponies but you will not get the benefits of a custom tune.
The other features look like they could be interesting for a driving enthusiast. Possibly a nice product for a DD, but not something for the track.

Even if the BD products offer as much programming flexibility as ECUtech and Uprev (as far as I can tell, they don't) you still need a knowledgeable tuner to do the programming.

Specifically, what are you suggesting makes it more customizable than Ecutek or Uprev? The list of features I read appear to just be marketing gimmicks designed to lure people who don't know any better. Canned tunes are $hit. The Z deserves better. Even with proper software, a tune is only as good as the tuner. And you can display the same information using a $50 tablet, $20 OBDII BT module, $5 app, and a mount of your choosing. Where is the launch control? Where is the flat-foot shifting?

This. There are two worthwhile tuning options for the Z. This is not one of them. Do it right or not at all.

Then wait until you can do it right. Don't halfass the tune. That's the one part you can't halfass.

What are your plans?
If you plan on racing the car, then take the other posters' advice and wait until you can afford to do it right. If you just want a little oomph in your DD, the BD unit may do what you want. Your butt dyno will probably feel some difference. If you just want to monitor the engine, as per JARblue, you can find OBD/CAN monitors for a LOT less than what the BD units cost.
