EcuTek can disable yaw sensor "ice mode"?

Does anyone know if EcuTek can disable the yaw sensor? Would be great to have a one of the selectable maps be a track map that disables the yaw sensor

Default EcuTek can disable yaw sensor "ice mode"?

Does anyone know if EcuTek can disable the yaw sensor? Would be great to have a one of the selectable maps be a track map that disables the yaw sensor and VDC.

I asked John in another post (ECUTEK - Everything), but figured I would ask here too.

Thanks.

Ecutek can disable the VDC... I have it set to when I shut off the VDC it is completely disabled and my only saving grace is the Ecutek Traction control... Trust me I went sideways at 120+mph and 7300rpms... enough so that the person behind me could see my brake calipers and all I could do was feather the throttle.

Not once did it kick on...

VDC is one thing. Yaw sensor is another.

When you disable VDC do you get both lights??

So after your tune/reflash your VDC dash light is always on no matter what?

Is the other light on (yaw sensor) as well?

Uprev or EcuTek?

FYI John sent me an EcuTek map to test disabling the Yaw sensor. It didn't work. Hope he continues to look into this!

So John got back to me and stated that if EcuTek disables the yaw senor that it won't throw the Yaw light on the dash sense we are no longer actually unplugging the sensor.

I didn't think that would be the case. Maybe the route EcuTek takes to disable the yaw sensor is different and doesn't actually disable it, but adjust it using software parameters.

I will do an actual test drive with the traction control map he sent me when I find time and a place to properly test it.

In the meantime I asked John to focus on my tune and maps. I will just disconnect the Yaw sensor when needed at the track in the meantime.

I have yet to trip the yaw sensor with the ecutek traction control... I had the traction control turned almost all the way off and got the car sideways in triple digits... No light and no traction control interrupts... It's safe to say you can track the crap out of the car without having to worry about it grabbing the brakes on you... Trust me I would have known if it kicked in especially since I have 6 piston 14" rotors in the rear!!!

I have also done some really high speed stops from triple digits and I can tell you not once did ice mode set in.

Why was someone telling me that doing this you'd lose , you Airbag, steering sensor and bunch of other things because it helps feed the BCM info for all of them :/.
