Default UpRev - License + Dyno - Price Check!!

Hello all,

I am looking at getting my car UpRev'd.

I called a local tuner who said it would be $850 for the tune + dyno time.

Does this sound accurate? I thought it would be $600 tops

Which license are you purchasing with that? Are you getting the cable as well?

That should be the "Standard" or whatever is included.

All i got out of the convo was Tune + Dyno time = $850.

Tune was $300 i think?

Also worth mentioning, is the shop has a 4 week backlog of customers.

Is anyone in Chicagoland reliable for tuning!!

Tune and no cable should be closer to $600-650. If you get the cable that'll add another $250 $850 ish. Ex: I got a price quote from Auto Dymanics in NY for $400 just tune. I have the license already. The cable cost is $250.

I'm also in the same boat. Looking for a reliable tuner in the Midwest.

I might contact Project X Customs (Project X Customs | Project X Customs). They might be a good candidate for UpRev tuning.

Quantum Peformance (http://quantum-performance.com/engin...gement-tuning/) in Port Washington, WI is an UpRev dealer. Heard the tech there is a Master Infiniti tech. Pricing is right on par with what you provided too.

osbornsm, What shop did you contact?

There are two tuners of UpRev in the Chicagoland area:

Genesis Racing Development (GRD)
P&L Performance + Project X (Two shops combined)

I most recently contacted P&L as it is THEIR dyno that Project X will be using.

But the price tho!!

That's definitely on the high end but I have seen shops charging up to $1000 for just the reflash and tune... $500 is about the cheapest, 600-700 is average. It all depends on the area you live in and how much competition there is.

Another option is Osiris standard for $550 shipped.. includes the cable just no dyno. PM me if you have any questions how it works

That's definitely high but if the guy has a 4 week backlog he's apparently justified in that price.

I think I paid $500-550 without the cable and then a few months later picked the cable up for $200. This was like four years ago and I know that UpRev has had some price increases but nothing that substantial.
