MSR-H is one of the three that are over 3 hours but less than 5 hours from Dallas. I'm not a big fan of MSR-H as it has no elevation

I'm not a big fan of MSR-H as it has no elevation change and every time I go it rains (10 miles from Gulf). I don't mind a little rain sometimes but it sucks to drive 5 hours and then get a lot of rain. I highly recommend you make a event at TWS in College Station. It is only 90 miles from Houston and there are events there all the time. |
