Default brake squealing

Looking for some input on my brake situation. This is a track only car that
now weighs 2750 lbs without fuel or driver. It has been a several year
project, and is finally running without having mechanical or electrical issues
when I get to the track. Car came with Hawk pads and the Akebono calipers.
There is no ABS so the Hawk pads had very little pedal travel from 0 to 100%
and consequently front lock up. I had to brake late and really ease the brakes.
There was no brake ducting and no squealing. I went to Project Mu Club sport
pads (I liked them on my S2000 with AP racing calipers). Much better brake feel, but pads squealed like crazy and I did have drop off in braking capability.
Installed brake ducting and sanded the glaze off pads and rotors. I have OEM rotors. Same thing next track day. Went to G-Loc R-12 for the front.
Squealing came back, with half the volume, but no drop off in capability.
Also my wheels get so hot that I lose my weights that balance the wheels.
Is all that normal? What remedies should I start with?

Track pads squeal and not much you can do about it. Only thing you can do is to swap street friendly pads to track pads between track days. Also for wheel weights falling off, you can put something like a aluminum heating tape over it to prevent from coming off.

Default brake squealing

My Carbotech XP10/XP8 pads, which are pretty typical track pads.. nothing crazy, squeal like MAD under light braking. It must drive other drivers crazy when I pull up to a stop light next to them.

I’ve heard that heat reflective aluminum tape works well to keep the wheel weights on

Talking

My Carbo 10/8 pads with the RacingBrake rotors squeal on the street with light braking. Once hot, the squealing stops

These squeal on the track when they get hot. The car is not driven on the street. I'll try the aluminum tape.

You might be glazing the pads from excessive heat. I would give slotted rotors a try which should help prevent glazing by removing the topmost layer of the pads.

That's a badge of honor. LOL Squealing brakes pulling up to a traffic light or stop sign. I just smile because I am being annoying and I don't care.

I removed the factory shims, that cut down on the squeal significantly.
