Default Best Bang for Buck Chassis Brace

There's a plethora of braces for different positions available, some seem they wouldn't add much rigidity. For example, forward braces that bolt to the inner LCA mount which is braced laterally by the OE subframe seem redundant. I notice the center of the chassis from behind the subframe back to the W bar has zilch. Would that be the first area to fortify?

I searched brace in this forum and individual threads and didn't find much other than rear end braces.

Any insight and experience is greatly appreciated!

Soul Function has a variety of options. I bought this set of Nismo chassis braces but the instructions are in Japanese and I'm not even sure where all they go lol

Not sure if the Soul Function stuff actually works or not. May be another sales gimmick.

Not much out there that bolt on is really worth it. To tie the chassis in. You have to do some welding. Between the rear shock towers. The front frame horns need triangulation. Going that far. You're talking about a full cage.

The Nismo kit Jar has, deals with controlling chassis harmonics. The chassis struts that come on the Nismo does that too.

Yeah that's the conclusion I reached too searching through reviews from people who bought it. No significant impact and some negatives, you hit more stuff on the road because the parts are closer to the ground.

I remember that there was some installations issues with the first manufacturer of these not sure if others just copied or spent time for improvements. I remember that some of the bolts were too short that came with the kit but it was pretty simple to get the correct length.

If I remember right. If you have an oil cooler. The front brace may not fit because of the cooler. The old Nismo cooler will work with the brace, as it is in a different location.

I also have a PS steering cooler in the way. I guess if they don't go on the car, they'll just have to go on display at some point

Hotrodz has always said his RPM 4 point rollbar stiffened the chassis up and he noticed it. That may be something to look into.

I have the DRL radiator with built-in oil cooler that lots of Nismo RC uses in Japan, it replaced my CSF plus 2 34 tow oil coolers in parallel and temperature is still perfectly fine on 25min track sessions. The only drawback is the radiator cost more than CSF and 2 oil coolers combined, lol

That's a cheap radiator at $ 2,592.82 USD.
